How You Now Stand
‘How You Now Stand’ is a project documenting the damage a storm caused to my garden, a place where memories were created and are now hard to remember. I started this project without knowing the emotions that would come with it, realising I have no photographs of the land in its prime, before the damage that was caused. In many ways this felt bittersweet, those moments are kept only for me in memories, but the more I look at these photos the harder it is for me to visualise it in the way I want to.
These are accompanied by a letter written by my grandad to the land.
